Welcome to Pet Civic (accessible at petcivic.com).

Transparency and honesty are extremely important to us. In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, Google policies, and affiliate network standards, we want you to know how this website operates and how we earn income to keep our content free for pet parents.

1. How We Use Affiliate Links

Some of the links on Pet Civic are affiliate links. This means that if you click on a product link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer.

This comes at absolutely NO extra cost to you. The price of the product remains exactly the same whether you purchase through our link or directly through the merchant’s website. In some cases, our partnerships may even help you access special discounts or promotions.

2. Amazon Services LLC Associates Program

Pet Civic is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for website owners to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

3. Other Affiliate Programs & Partners

In addition to Amazon, we may partner with other pet supply retailers and affiliate networks (such as Chewy, ShareASale, CJ Affiliate, or individual pet product brands).

If a link takes you to another merchant’s website and you make a purchase, we may earn a referral fee from that platform under the same terms—at zero additional expense to you.

4. Editorial Independence & Integrity

Our recommendations are never influenced by affiliate partnerships. We only recommend products, gear, food, and supplies that:

  • We believe offer genuine value to pets and their owners.
  • Have been thoroughly researched, vetted, or tested.
  • Hold strong reputations, positive customer reviews, and reliable quality standards.

A retailer paying a commission does not guarantee a positive review or product feature. The well-being and safety of your dogs and cats are always our primary priority.

5. Medical & Health Disclaimer

The information provided on Pet Civic is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not veterinary advice. Always consult your veterinarian before introducing new foods, supplements, medications, or specialized gear to your pet’s routine.
